HOW IT STARTED

In 2011, as the head coach of Team GB Inline Hockey, I experienced a defining moment in my coaching career. Our team achieved an extraordinary feat—a historic Gold medal and promotion into Pool A. It culminated in transforming our culture, dedication to our mission, and changing our mindset and approach to high performance.

But my passion for creating successful teams continued. I was driven to explore new avenues and apply my experience in different arenas. After fifteen years of working with elite sports teams, I immersed myself in the business world.

Before taking the helm as a head coach, I embarked on a journey in the corporate realm, leading sales and consultancy teams in diverse settings. From startups to Fortune 100 companies, I navigated the intricate landscape of the business world for a decade.

Combining my wealth of knowledge from both sports and business, I eagerly shared my insights and expertise with corporate leaders. However, it quickly became apparent that not all the strategies that had proven effective in sports directly translated to the complexities of business leadership.Driven to understand the secrets of high-performing teams, I analysed hundreds of businesses to determine what separated the winners from the rest. 

And a clear pattern emerged - a formula for building teams that consistently outperform the competition.
